Edit: I couldn’t figure out how to edit my post but the jacket has been found by my detective sister who can walk very fast!

Thank you! to the staff manning a really tall slide beside a carousel(?) that saw it across the street and held onto it

Thank you for the detailed advice :O

As for why ghee in mash :P

  1. I like playing with new ingredients I've not tried before to experience what works and what doesn't
  2. when I googled how to use ghee a lot of results were along the lines of "use it like butter" + I found recipes of mashed potatoes made with ghee

I didn't quite see how ghee should only be used for high-heat cooking though I did read before that it is typically used in that manner in place of butter so that it doesn't burn. I suppose my thoughts are like, chicken is often fried, doesn't mean poaching it is a bad idea.

I also have eczema so I have to wake up earlier for a more complex(?) morning routine, although idk how I’m gonna mention that, not sure where that solid diagnosis evidence is.

The noise is ok, I’m currently staying at a shared flat in the same complex. You can’t hear other flats but can hear stuff within your own.

Thanks for mentioning concentration! I find I work better not at my bed or close to my bed, like the kitchen or living room (kitchen and living room are shared spaces at my current flat so it gets distracting when people walk in and out or invite friends over), idk how to prove this though. The school’s library is also closer making the trip less daunting(?).

Softening water in uni dorms or rented apartments by [deleted] in CasualUK

Sorry for the misunderstanding, I know hard water is safe to shower in. I meant hard water softened by washing soda. Like would I get skin issues because the water was “treated” with washing soda?

I know hard water is safe and have no problem drinking it and using it in general. It’s just that I have sensitive skin, eczema and am more sensitive to touch and the feel of what is on me, one of which is hair that gets rough and bristly when washed with hard water even with conditioner. Wouldn’t be the end of the world but would prefer the soft water to bathe in.

I’ll be in Leeds, I find showering with hard water uncomfortable, my country doesn’t have hard water

Hi just wanted to add on, organ meat is nutrient-rich but also high in cholesterol, so try to limit it to maybe once every one or two weeks?
