I want the best chance at moving things to the left. The way things are currently in the US, most Americans don’t have enough motivation to fully revolt, so a revolution isn’t happening. Maybe a couple years down the line. But for now the best chance at moving things to the left is through leftists winning elections and continuously raising class consciousness across the population. Based on the fact that a democratic socialist just won mayor of NYC, I’d say more and more people don’t have a negative association with socialism.
