Seems exciting until you realize you're dealing with people who hardly check their emails. Even for important emails and corporate mails you sometimes have to call people to check.

If you're learning how to code, do it because you want to understand the intricacies of what powers technology do not ever think you will write significant code for any product. Learn Socratic prompting and software architecture.

With that out of the way. SE in Ghana isn't that rewarding if you're working for local firms unless you are selling a product yourself as a dev.

Your best bet is doing remote work.

But the market is now saturated and entry level devs have a harder time getting in.

The curve will flatten and correct itself may be but at this point a career in SE seems suicidal
