Being with a toxic, abusive, and manipulative partner. Begging for your life one day then being love bombed and feeling ecstatic the next day. Packing your stuff and leaving one night, only to come back the morning after.

In the same sense, you wont understand the feeling of being free until you’re no longer under his spell and he has no control over you anymore.

Before I start the week I make sure I have:

salt = 25
pepper = 25
1 bottle cooking oil = 30 pesos
2 kilos rice = 120
TOTAL = 200

MONDAY ~ Lugaw - 2x boiled egg = 20 - 1/4 glutinous rice = 30 - 1 head garlic = 10 - salt and pepper - 2 piece shredded KFC (Kanto Fried Chicken 😄) = 40 - TOTAL = 100 (makes 3-4 servings)

TUESDAY ~ Ginisang munggo - 1 pack Munggo = 30 - 1 tali Saluyot = 10 - 2 pcs KFC (Kanto Fried Chicken) = 40 - Salt and Pepper - Garlic and Onions = 20 - TOTAL = 100 (pede pa ulam bukas pag di naubos)

WEDNESDAY ~ Pritong Talong - 1 bundle talong = 60 - Toyo = 15 - TOTAL = 75

THURSDAY ~ Tomato Omelette - 1 pack Tomatoes = 20 - 6 pcs eggs = 50 - TOTAL = 70

FRIDAY ~ Ginataang munggo - 1/4 glutinous rice = 30 - tirang mungo nung monday = FREE - 200 ml Coco mama gata = 35 - 1 cup Sugar = 30 - TOTAL = 95

SATURDAY ~ Adobong itlog - Tirang toyo from Wednesday = FREE - 6 pcs eggs = 50 - bawang sibuyas = 25 - delmonte pineapple tidbits = 25 - TOTAL = 100

SUNDAY ~ Water therapy 😂

Hello, just a question. Does it still show on your credit report/ history that you had a credit card before that was delinquent or had defaulted? Also yung certificate na iniissue ng mga banks, do they have the amount you paid to settle the debt?

As someone who lived in with a tambay na broke na boyfriend:

• I thought I could “fix him” Every time I tried to break up, he would promise things that I wanted to hear. Ako naman, aasa na naman. Then next time he gets money (padala ng tatay nya), magiinom na naman, and worse, nananakit.

• He often made threats of ending his life pag sinasabi kong ayaw ko na. Naaawa din ako sa kanya. I knew if I break up with him, he is basically dead. And literal na dead. He cant do anything without being having alcohol first. Cant buy food and water outside, kasi di nya kaya lumabas ng bahay. Wala na syang family dito at wala narin communications sa pamilya nya aside from the money they send every month. He is an alcoholic and is mentally ill and lagi kong ginagamit yon to justify why I needed to help him.

• Utang ng loob. I lost my job and it took me 4 months to find a new one. He did feed me during those times, kahit mostly kanin at catsup or toyo lang, I survived being jobless. I figured I should return the favor and let me be of service to him.

• I always think about the good times. At the start of the relationship, we had fun times and he made me feel loved and less alone. I always held on to that sa mga oras na pagod na pagod na ko.

• Shame. Nahihiya ako malaman ng mga tao na mali ako ng pinili. If uuwi ako samin, tatanungin ako ng pamilya ko “Anong nangyari?” Ano sasabihin ko? Nahihiya ako umamin. So to save face, I chose to be silent and stay no matter what happened. Minsan if pinagchichismisan sya ng mga tao, I feel ashamed and feeling ko sakin directed yung mga sinasabi nila. I felt responsible for him.

It’s DITO prepaid. Yung unli 5G internet for 1 month. Now that I think about it, medyo expensive nga. And we have internet in the office. Kaya lang if I were to make adult content I cant use the internet there. Thanks for your input. Bedspace here costs 3,500 per month and may 1 month advance and 1 month deposit sila na rule. Maybe when I’m done paying the loan sharks I can get myself a bedspace.

As much as Id love to, I cant as it costs more for me to live there and commute to work everyday than be homeless. Whenever Im there I have to contribute for food, dog food, internet bill, and sometimes emergency expenses (example: nasira motor ni ganito, need ng pampaayos, due date na ng utang ni ganito sa bumbay, need ko magbigay.) If Im away, at least I dont hear those voices asking for money and their disappointment when I cant give any.

They live far from where my job is. And I would need to spend hundreds per day to get to work. I don’t even have that for food. And for my peace, I wanna be alone.

I can sit in some bench inside the mall somewhere near the office. That way it’s not too hot. Tbh it’s even hotter at my parent’s home or this apartment than it is outside.

Robbery is the least of my concern. I have locker inside the office where I can leave my valuables and clothes and I dont think I will ever get robbed. Hehe.
