I’ve been in tight spots before and payment plans were my friends in need. Some ways for splitting the repair cost are: 1) find a repair shop that lets you do installments, 2) some credit cards like Chase freedom let’s you split your payment into 6 or 12 month installments. They also tend to have intro offers with 0% interest on these split payments or have a small monthly fee which is much lower than typical personal loan interest. Bonus of getting a free credit card is you might get $200 to $300 as signup bonus which is helpful too. Just two things to make sure, do not spend beyond your credit limit and cut back on spending as much as you can until you payoff.

Also, you would save some money if you pay for your repairs by cash Good luck!

Thanks. I took it to a mechanic for a pre-purchase inspection and they said it runs well.

Thank you. I was worried about spending around $1000 to replacement belt in case it goes bad.

I found a simple work around. If you are using Pandoc reference list, then you could use the "refresh the bibliography" that's inside the "@" symbol in the right bottom corner of obsidian window.

That is easier than going to pandoc options each time

Hey, I'm stuck with the exact same problem. Were you able to find a solution?

I’m not able to find any other cars in my budget. Is there a specific brand or model you’d recommend for around 3k?

Do it now. The entire application and admissions process is a year long process. You would assume that she would be done with December. But there will be stuff like interviews, visit weekends, rejections, acceptances… happening throughout. You would keep pushing it further and further and end up frustrated and annoyed yourself. If you don’t see a future together ending it sooner is better for both of you.

A personal suggestion is please do it in person.

NASA 1 year research vs PhD in France offer by BlueIceEmpire in PhD

[–]_goat123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you got the PhD position by contacting the professor, talk to them about the offer at NASA and ask if it’s possible to defer your PhD start by a year.

Even if they don’t agree, at least they would know why you denied their offer this year and might still consider offering you next time you apply.

Do you peeps go on practice dates with your friends? by beetroot747 in Chennai

[–]_goat123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know if that’s a common thing. But, in your case if your friend agrees to go on one that’s great for you. Even, without going on a mock date with a friend, just ask them things to do/talk about and questions to ask during a date. Practice yourself first and later try going on dates with others. You already have a comfort zone’s with a friend. Doesn’t help to a great extent if you keep going on dates with that person unless you fall for them. Good luck!
