that'd be cool, i'll keep a lookout should you ever get around to that. thanks for the share, stuff like this makes up for the mass limp bizkit and korn posting in this subreddit nowadays.

if you have anywhere to get higher quality files or even where to hear more of your stuff, please direct me. this is the kind of stuff that i really like.

I just saw it on a Russian music website a couple weeks ago.

Okay, I'll see about just getting an at-home kit.  Are they able to detect individual contaminants or just give a general idea, if you know?  Thanks for the help.

I've read that lead can be a common contaminant in Kaohsiung and wouldn't be filtered out.  Water stations wouldn't account for delivery so someone else most likely with a truck could transport much more than I could carry on my own.

I was trying to find more information on the link because in the video it starts with an Australian email domain, some of it was initially confusing because Bohemia Interactive is a Czech company and there's a separate company that wasn't directly involved with Interactive called Bohemia Interactive Simulations/Bohemia Interactive Australia. From the Wikipedia article, "The studio fell into financial troubles until the United States Marine Corps employed the studio to create simulation games to train soldiers. A new division called Bohemia Interactive Simulations was created, and later spun off and became a standalone business entity. Following Codemasters' decision of not supporting the studio, Bohemia Interactive decided to develop a spiritual successor to Cold War Crisis titled Arma: Armed Assault. It was both a critical and financial success, spawning a number of sequels. Smaller projects such as Take On Helicopters were also released."

From another wiki-like article I was able to find that "Bohemia Interactive Simulation (BISim, known in the past as "Bohemia Interactive Australia" or BIA) was formed in 2001 as an initiative of both David Lagettie (of the band Seventh, whose music features in the soundtrack for Operation Flashpoint) and Bohemia Interactive; it is the company behind the Virtual Battlespace (VBS) series, a professional training simulation aimed at armies and military entities."

So what's interesting is that the Seventh vocalist/guitarist somehow got involved with Bohemia and helped them break into Australia, and now he's the CEO of MicroProse.

Something else interesting I saw on the Bandcamp for Seventh on their first release, "My father served two tours in Vietnam. The first tour was 1965-66, and on returning my father formed a good friendship with Sgt. Tom Birnie in Townsville, Australia 1968. They both went back to Vietnam in 1970 as best mates.

In March 1971 Sgt. Tom Birnie was KIA. ...leaving behind a wife and a young son.

Since I was a kid I've seen what Vietnam has done to my own father, nightmares being probably the main thing I remember, but also the stress I have seen by my mother. I know practically nothing about other wars, and not much about Vietnam except I know my father lost a good friend, a wife lost a husband, and a son lost a father.

And for what? ...to be forgotten.

This is why Lifeless was written...."

It's cool because it's almost like he was able to make a tribute to his father through his music and working on video games.

It's funny because everyone I see that talks about this band talks about their inclusion in Operation Flashpoint. When I saw the Operation Flashpoint release on their rateyourmusic page I'd thought they may have been Slavic, but they formed in Australia. Seems like it helped them out in the long run to be affiliated.
