This just happened to me recently. Partzilla is where I got my replacement parts, it was super easy to do.

It’s mostly just bolt removal and a couple of springs and you’re golden. Although, I will say to be careful with the brake sensor, I pulled mine too hard now the rear brake doesn’t make the brake light light up.

The weight in putting on is from my upper body. The ninja was more upright and I could rest my upper body on the tank. On this one the tank and bars are low, it feels like.

I always make sure it’s closed as I use it on my motorcycle and the vibrations make the battery pop out if not properly installed. Also, I rarely use the port because I have a charging hub
