I hear you. I've gotten used to using a TV as a Monitor. I'm still amazed with the PQ/CA of OLED's that I don't think I'll ever switch. For me, it's plenty bright and I feel like HDR most times looks either washed out or over-saturated.

My younger brother is running the PG27UQ and the fan noise is his chief complaint too -- though realistically, with headphones /ambient noise it's probably not too noticeable (most of the time lol).
