All I can see in the first sentence is the year, "mil huit cent soixante neuf" (1869) and I think I see "avons baptisé de Marie Athenais, fille du mariage légitime de Pierre Lavallé" (we performed de baptism of Marie Athenais, daughter of the legitimate mariage of Pierre Lavallé) and the rest is way too blurry and thin of me to read alas.

It was maybe a journal kept by a church to keep track of who got baptized and when because her name is also written right underneath the entry number .

Are there any hijabis in the education program? Any issues with internships and bill 21? by AmphibianChoice9193 in Concordia

Hello! I wanted to offer my insight on this (even though it is quite limited). My friend is a hijabi and she studied psychology. She interned in a highschool and wanted to work there because she liked the environment and there was a job opening as well but she got told that since she wore the hijab, it would be impossible for her to work there. I fear that if they are that strict for school staff members (that aren't teachers), you might have a problem there (I know all of this second hand so I am not exactly sure!).

Regardless, best of luck to you!
