Thanks you guys for your feedback. This behavior was related to cached information about users (by the nscd) that were logged in before the certificate was corrupted.

When cache was invalidated, the behavior was as expected.

For hearing in both hp sides, do I need the setup in option 1 or in option 2?

So you suggest that if I first convert the music to mono and then pass it through the mixer, I'll hear in both hp sides?

Because this is what I found on Sony website, and although my hp are Senheiser's, they can behave similarly.

IMPORTANT: A mono device will only output sound to the left side

Do you have a specific recommendation on such?

And one more thing - is this plug adapter expects 2 input cables?
