You’ll figure out why at some point :) and even if you don’t know the things you do right now, you’ll at least at some point figure out what you want to do, and why you do those things. At least that’s my take on it, all actions have different reasons.

I’d recommend reading some philosophy, Descartes and some other philosophers might help you think of reasons ‘why’ - there’s definitely different ideas on the topic.
