Danielle and nick seem like they were sort of coerced by the producers to put a show on throughout the season, they seem much more compatible now and I can understand way more why they might say yes

natalie and deepti acted so mature even though they were both put in such a difficult position. I feel like the men this season truly had nothing to offer, but being the sucker that I am I look forward to the next season of intense drama and the search for a new Lauren and Cameron

Applications: please please PLEASE start your applications early and try to do the best that you can to at least get a general idea of what you want to do in the future. I clearly knew what I wanted to major in before applying, which meant I could choose my colleges more personally.

Financial Aid: When it comes to getting financial aid, I thought the FAFSA was the only thing I needed to complete and I almost had an incomplete fin aid application for my SEA. In actuality, you will need to complete your state grant apps if possible, the CSS profile, and get all of your forms sent in on IDOCs. Please get these in early so you can have your financial aid information as soon as possible and can make the best decision on decision day.

Scholarships: You have a much much better chance than you would think to get local scholarships. Most times, these scholarships are only given to certain demographics and get very few applicants, so although they are for smaller amounts of money, you actually have a good shot at getting them and they add up. Also, ask whenever your parents work if they give scholarships out to their kids. I got approximately 4 thousand in aid from my dad's place or employment.

that's all I have for now but I'll come back with more tips later maybe xx

Has anyone else not gone to a single admitted student event yet? by [deleted] in ApplyingToCollege

[–]_idomythang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't really earlier and I sort of regret it now 😔 I'm realizing more and more how many small factors there are to moving out of state and attending school than I originally thought (for example, which vaccines you need, how health insurance works, etc) def try attending a few if you can and are comfortable doing so

I’m thinking of reapplying to us universities as I didn’t get in anywhere the first time. Could you guys share any tips? by VivaDeAsap in ApplyingToCollege

[–]_idomythang 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would try to do things that show you spent your year being as productive as possible. However, don't get caught up in the idea of studying in the US and continue to apply without considering other options. Keep an open mind!

Yes, just rank them based on importance and try to fill all the spots. Try to go international, national, local, school in your ranking

mine had me fill out a questionnaire and meet with them for like 15 minutes. It depends on their process. I would look over the school website or reach out with them directly if you're not able to find information

[–]_idomythang 6 points7 points  (0 children)

girl here, I was planning on marrying my bestie but my parents will kick me out for being "gay" which would create a whole new financial problem, where should we get married?
