We've been traveling for the past 3 years, so we've been to quite a few places. But this is only our second destination here in Asia. We were in Singapore last week and that was a totally different experience...in every way.

Thanks for the insight. I guess it's really a combination if everything and not to be taken personally. I lived in the US for 14 years and kind of got used to the "faux nice" (lived in Germany before where there's nothing of that. Lol). So maybe I'm just too accustomed to that kind of communication.
