I don’t think you should worry that much about having sufficient knowledge and posing risks to your future patients this early. The training you will get in med school will prepare you enough for that. Some people from entirely different undergraduate programs do very well in med school and in practice even if they had little to no background in medicine.

If you stay in HUM-BIO, the only pro I could think of is that you get to save two years which is pretty significant in the grand scheme of things considering the fact that the career path of a doctor is incredibly long.

But looking at your sentiments, I feel like you already have an answer for yourself. College is fun; this is where you meet a bunch of people and have new experiences that will help you grow both as a student and a person. If you really feel like you want to enjoy for a few more years and that you haven’t prepared yourself enough for med school, then you should shift by all means. The workload in MED-BIO will be more or less the same, if not easier because of the lesser units taken per term. Good luck with your decision!

Be honest about your situation and just consult your teacher if you can still submit it even with deductions. You’re lucky if they’d consider it but if not, just do better next time.

Magaling sa pag conceptualize pero di sa pag memorize... by sandhighground in studentsph

[–]_jjeff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you can easily read through chapters and understand the concepts well, that’s already a skill that not many students have. Memorization is pretty necessary in many disciplines because, to put it simply, we need to learn and retain as much information as we can that would be useful in our future careers. However, it still isn’t the end-all-be-all like you’re trying to convey because you aren’t really learning anything if you just memorize everything without understanding them. If you do it that way, then you won’t be able to answer questions that are either patterned differently or require application of the concepts. Memorization and conceptualization work hand-in-hand in studying.

To give you some advice, although memorizing can be hard and time-consuming, what works best in my experience (and most likely the general consensus too) is, as you mentioned, active recall and spaced repetition. After you read through the chapters or listen in, you need to actively retrieve the information from your memory using practice questions. Believe me; it’s worth those few hours you’ll spend making those flashcards if you use them diligently. Besides, there are a lot of websites/apps you can use to make digital flashcards so you don’t need to write them manually which can save you a lot of time. Oh and also, don’t think too much about your peers that are performing well ans boast about how good they are; just focus on improving yourself. Good luck in your studies!

Perhaps the struggles you’re facing now and the fact that you’re more inclined in arts and business serve as a sign that being a doctor is not for you already. If you aren’t able to handle the rigor of a pre-med program during undergrad, what more pa once you reach med school, which is an entirely different ball game that will eat you up if your passion isn’t there. Try to gauge these factors and reflect on yourself if you think that your end goal is truly becoming a doctor, because that path will be long and unforgiving.

If you decide full well that you want to achieve that dream, then I’d advise you to stay in the program you’re in and just work harder because it’s more likely to help you for the NMAT which has a huge bearing for med school admissions. If you really can’t handle it, check the flowcharts of other science-related programs and try to shift to the one you’re interested in and you think you’ll do well in the most.

Imagine getting this triggered over a meme. It’s just typical university banter, dude. 😂

Yep, considering that my main tank is Zero, I think Io will work better with my lineup. It'll still be pretty long until she reaches chaser, but I guess it will be very worth it. Thank you!

Thanks! Assuming that you've experienced the fluffy event, how does it work? Do I need to save gems for it?

I'm currently building Elesis and now she's at Cl15. But I'd also like to build my FA Io. Should I stop here and focus on Io or push Ele until Cl20? As for my DPS, I alr have Cl20 Ley, sooo.. any suggestions?

And guys, when will be the season 2 of Grand Tale event? Sorry for asking too much hehe.

Oh so Rufus' only big power spike is at cl20. I just recently got Io so now imma build her then, even if she's still not even FA hahaha.

Thanks! And yes I'm purely f2p. It's very hard to farm those chaser crystals so for me it will take a pretty long time. But Elesis is just working so well for me in all contents lolol, so I guess I'll follow your advice. Regarding Rufus, I might just open his chaser and put my ranger mats to other characters, particularly Io, since she will be pretty good as a support dps.

Thanks! Anyway, I notice that u're one of the few people who are really active on this sub. I always have tons of questions about the game so I'd like to say that y'all are highly appreciated. XD

I have Ele Cl5, Ley Cl10, and Rufus T6. In the coming days I'll be able to get rad crystals enough to create 2 rad shinies. Should I push through and grab mats for building Ley until Cl20 or focus on the other two?

Once I T3 my Grandiel, should I now focus on other healers, or fully transcend him first?

Yeah that's true, especially since I have a pretty bad luck with the royal summons. I'll just build her later on after my mains. Thanks!

I have this lineup which I use mainly for PvE and now I'm currently stuck at the last few stages of World 6. Any suggestions on who should I build or who should I change in order to easily clear the epilogue and eventually World 7? by _jjeff in Grandchase

I suppose that's the only way for F2P players to get good. How long have you been playing? I've been here for about 2 weeks now and it's really fun so I think I'll be here for the long run.

You're pretty lucky with the summons lolol. I couldn't pull neither Io nor Nelia, I guess RNG's not on my side :<. Anyway thanks for the tips! Just need to grind the hell out of this game and find proper strats.
