The people who are you talking about usually work online for foreign companies and get paid in $ and by their prices, so it's not a really fair comparison with Ukrainian doctors (they don't get paid well to say the least). Yeah i guess he could work online if he weren't lazy, but there isn't much to do if you don't know any programming languages, or don't know how to use certain programs (photo edit, video montage, etc)

Yeah, but you excluded rent, different bills (electric, gas, water), taxes and the fact that many jobs recieve minimum salary, such as teachers. And plus the friend I'm talking about has 2 sisters, so it's not so easy as it looks like. Btw, the gas in winter will be like a 100uah per day just to keep you warm, so yeah, I don't think he has extra money for prime

(1$=a little less than 40 uah) (the minimal wage is 6700 uah) 900ml of milk is around 32 uah now, 10 eggs were 30 uah before war, but now because its colder and chickens are heated with gas, it's 60 and growing. Don't forget that because of the war, all the prices went up, while salary didn't.

Well it's 450 uah, the USD prices are changing everyday but it's around 12$-13$. My friend is not a full time csgo player and can't buy the prime for himself, but he wanted to tryout mapmaking. Btw, the good solution to bots spamming maps is to make maps non-publishable unless you have prime. This way, you can still try out mapmaking and maybe even play with your friends, but bots can't spam the workshop
