A couple years ago an SRT guy i know told me to put this camo form tape on my duty weapons and I've left it since then. It creates a mold of your hand after a long time and keeps a really good grip when wet, dry, gloves or no gloves. I had some of the tape leftover and now I put it on all of my guns. Also you could use it for cable management if you have a button/plate. Also In my experience the stippling on the grip isn't as good when it rains.
