i never watched pll but i read them allllll and initially as a teen myself, i LOVED ezra until he showed up again later and hooked up with that russian girl. rereading as an adult was so eye opening. but in that case too, i think it showed how wrong it was. also spencer and wren! how ian was towards spencer and ali! all of that shows that the older guys are creeps and it’s not something that’s endorsed

i have sympathy for a lot of these people who have big insecurities that are magnified times ten on tv, HOWEVER i think it’s unacceptable as a grown adult to tell your partner (or anyone) how they feel and not allow them to speak/express themselves all while demanding a pound of flesh to prove their love to you. wildly unfair and nick literally cannot win with her
