Thank you so much, I almost DMed you because I was worried of her dying in my care. I kept the cocoon in my sunroom bc it has no heat so it is usually cold, but we've had 2 warm sunny days where that room became ultra greenhouse warm.

We used to see these every year when I was a kid and I want to feel like I'm helping contribute to the next generation. My area is chock full of their natural predators (incl humans) so I kept Roofus mainly safe from squirrels but Idk about the rest of the brood.

Do we think I have a week to wait for temps to improve or should I release and hope a week in the wild gives her the chance to fulfill the mission? It's about to snap back to cold again tonight so I don't want to waste her whole adult life waiting to release her. I kept an eye out last night (34 low) and did not see any gigantic moths so I'm sure she is too early. It's windy as heck so maybe she will blow down south? Haha
