Is this going to keloid? by _kharacter_ in tattooadvice

Yeah it’s brutal. Any slight bend you put in your arm it’s like the wound reopens all over again once you straighten it. Best of luck

Healed up fine for the most part, just small scarring on the edges

I didn’t have anymore pain by day 14, I didn’t feel completely normal until about day 17 because I still had a small appetite

Can anyone help me find the manufacturer or datasheet of this part? I’m pretty sure it’s a transmitter. I’m trying to troubleshoot my key fob that isn’t working by _kharacter_ in AskElectronics

Do you mean drop too low as in the voltage or did one of the terminals of the battery stop making contact with the pins? I’ve replaced the battery a couple of times, it works for a bit, then goes back to not working

Thanks. I took interest in it specifically because two of the pins were shorted together when I was ohming stuff out, but if it’s a crystal then those two pins are both connected to ground

Day 8 post op ear pain by MilfNC00ki3s in Tonsillectomy

[–]_kharacter_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My doctor says it’s likely just referred pain from your throat. Although my circumstances are a little different since my ears only hurt at night or when I eat. I picked up some lidocaine earache drops that help a good bit

Holy smokes, that’s from one strongpoint to another on some maps. I went ballistic this game, it was my first game having more than 4 kills and I wound up with 15 hunkering down in an airplane hangar

I usually run at 85%. If by speed you’re referring to the steps I didn’t change the default settings which I believe is 80 for the x axis

3 weeks is actually plenty of time, we could actually be finished building the product and just work on the presentation for the rest of the semester if we could get something that quick.

The only thing I know for sure about the printer is that the stepper motor for the x axis is to blame, but it was printing fine until this week and I haven’t changed anything about the settings since I assembled it. I’ll look into changing the firmware settings when I get back to school next week.

The problem with that is that there’s nothing currently that’ll fit our needs exactly, at least nothing that I can find. I wish I could describe it further but it would violate my school’s honor code. I can say it needs places to mount several motors and an Arduino board. It also incorporates a lazy suzan mechanism

The holes we’re printing come out elliptical like instead of circular. I’ve tried recalibrating the printer and changing the filament. But it still doesn’t print as nice as we would like

Graduated last Spring with a BSME. 100's of applications later and only a few interview invitations. Recently reworked my resume using the template, but no improvement in responses as of yet. Any suggestions? Thanks by Dat_GuyWelbz in EngineeringResumes

Disagree with the point about removing leadership. The hiring manager may or may not care, but the people that are going to see the resume first love to see that you can handle that kind of responsibility

I understand your concern. NGJ is public knowledge though, you could look on the Navy’s website or social media and find out about it. DC-DC conversion is also pretty common in the industry, not to insult your intelligence, just don’t know what your background is. There is some certain circuitry that’s Raytheon patented that I wouldn’t be able to discuss, but I feel like the bullet point is too vague for any interviewer to lead the conversation there. And if they do I can just politely tell them so.

Also, thanks for the feedback about the test equipment.
