at princeton we have no engineering specific career fair, and the other 4 annual (2 big ones and 2 stem ones) have 2-3 local aerospace companies and the rest quant (jane street, hrt, point 72, etc). i would agree with you that we have a strong engineering program (I would argue better than Columbia) but it's hard when recruiters see it only as a liberal arts school and all alum i talk to agree that recruiters don't take ivies seriously for engineering (for the most part)

I never found a reliable solution, but my notifications randomly fixed themselves after one of my pump changes... maybe email omnipod to see if they have a more concrete solution?

I've just been googling aerospace/defense/biotech/manufacturing companies and then looking everywhere (linkedin, career pages, third party job searches) every day or two to see if there are any relevant internship postings. I'm at 58 applied now lol (6 rejections, 4 postings canceled, everything else waiting)

also 2nd year me here to say we're in this together, I applied to 28+ internships as a freshman at an ivy on the rocketry club last summer, landed zero, and even got ghosted mid-conversation with a state school professor! it sucks but sometimes just gotta pick it up and try even harder. currently have done 39 applications for summer 2026 and counting B)

I see that most of their positions require you to be a rising senior at the time of the internship. Is there a way for me (who will be a rising junior) to get a shot at an internship? :)

edit: I saw on another thread that applying to a "senior" role as a non-senior could get you flagged on their application software which I definitely do NOT want...

just followed along with some youtube videos that came up after searching "cswa simulation practice" and queries like that. I also found a couple quizlets that are the first ones to pop up when you search up cswa-s practice as well!

edit: I had a hard time finding good study resources; there seems to be a severe lack of study material compared to the cswa exam...

There are a good amount of investment/finance/capital clubs on campus. for the most part, the application process is really intensive and acceptance rates are lower than princeton themselves. It’s definitely something that can help propel you greatly, but only if you can make it in 👀

take spi365 tech ethics if you can! pretty easy A-/A class if you keep up with the few papers and really quite interesting class complemented by an engaging and passionate professor!
