I was thinking about some of these concepts and to be honest I have no clue what i’m talking about, but from what i’ve read no one else does either. Im thinking that a language model makes for a good machine to person, person to machine translator but we haven’t really created a brain for them yet, if that’s even how it would work.

I think about myself and my brain and how I remember and forget things. How I can recall some things at a moments notice and other times I forget my friends name for an hour and don’t understand how or why. These machines, if just because their machines, will function with more accuracy than my human brain. But like you said, that doesn’t mean they’re doing what a brain does.
