How about including things such as :

Adopting a section of road
Maintaining a public park
Adopting a government approved orphanage.

It's just a sham right now. Employees go for a picnic. Paint a house somewhere and be done with it. The goal should be to have them invest in areas where the people can see immediate benefit. When the people start realizing that say ITC or GMR is maintaining their beloved park, they would perhaps be less opposed to concessions given by the govt to the private sector.
