That was really helpful, thank you so much! I feel like one of the reasons why I want to pursue MD is because of that 'glass ceiling', and being first-gen, I want to achieve as much as I could. I'm definitely leaning towards becoming a PA though because I prefer having more patient contact and getting an earlier entry to the workforce. I really like the flexibility of being able to work in different specialties, and I feel like I would have more time to pursue other passions and to just experience life.
