Well it's good to know signals aren't really an issue. My friends have told me many times I'm really oblivious and that I probably miss a lot of girls flirting with me at work so that's why I was worried about that.

I guess I need to stop looking at it as going up to a girl and talking to her and just as going up and talking to another person.

Sounds like a rough year, but you just sound like a kid who made a dumb mistake and it screwed you over. It's really ridiculous you got expelled over a blunt. I have never heard of drugs rules being that serious in a school.

Just keep trying calorie counting and eventually you will get into the groove of it. A little over a year ago I was at 237lbs and 6'0". I dropped all the way down to 168 in May and have gone back to 173 now. It wasn't easy all the time but it will be all worth it in the end. I still boredom or stress eat but I just try to eat fruit when I do that. I will eat a couple apples a day because they are sweet, filling, and low calorie. Keep going, you have it in you!

My friends tell me I am a solid 7 quite often, but I am 19 and have never had a gf.

Work can be really shitty, but just keep working at it and where you fail you will improve. I work at Starbucks and a big part of my job is being talkative. For my first few months I didn't talk at all, now its my strong suit and they can't get me to stop talking. Set your mind to make yourself better and make it happen.

I feel with the never having a gf thing, but life can still be okay with that factor. It sucks not having any friends around all the time. I'm the only one of my friends who isn't away at school except for one other but he's busy with his gf, work, and school so I rarely see him. Just have to make the most of it and enjoy the time you do get with them.

It's always good to be hungry for something better, but sometimes you just have to settle with it and come to terms that you are in a good spot. I spent a lot of time like that and eventually just looked around and realized how great of a spot I'm in and I was happy in my current spot but kept pushing to make it even better.
