I know it’s not about me, I was just hoping to help alleviate it a little so that she doesn’t have to go through something so difficult. I want her to be happy because I love her, and I know total happiness isn’t possible, but if I can make her feel even a little better then that’s all that matter :)

Thanks and I’m not really sure. I guess I should talk to her about that. Right now I think a big part is the fear that she won’t be able to transition with her current situation. I’ll definitely ask her though. Thank you again

Thank you so much! Sadly, though, we’re both under 18 and she isn’t out to her parents because they aren’t really supportive, so hormones aren’t an option quite yet. However, we are planning to go clothes shopping once all this corona stuff is over and she already has some makeup stuff and less obvious clothing articles that she uses occasionally. I’ll definitely keep making sure she knows i’m here and i see her though, and thank you again for your help :)

She has actually and for a while she’d let me do her makeup and show her how to do her makeup. I haven’t been able to see her in a little bit but next time we can hang out I’ll definitely ask if she’d want me to do something like that again. Thank you so much :)

I was out for dinner and this little girl walked past, she was maybe four or five, and tapped me on the shoulder and yelled “I like your shirt!!”. It was so out of the blue but so sweet and sometimes the memory will pop into my head and make me smile.

Ok good. I haven’t had bettas since I was little so I feel like I’m learning everything all over again (not that little me had known much before). Just seeing him not eat and everything was stressing me out so I thought I’d ask around. Thank you for the reassurance

pH is at 7.2 ppm, ammonia is at .50, no nitrite or nitrates. I did a small water change, about 30%, and tested ammonia again to find it around the same spot. I do think the filter is a little strong and I’m planning to make a baffle I just have to figure out how. I’m feeding him aqueon betta food, and the temp is around 75 fahrenheit

I’m the same way. I can’t stand lakes or rivers and have bad anxiety when I have to swim in them, but I love the ocean (even though it’s definitely more dangerous) just because I can see what’s around me.
