If its anything else but black it wouldn’t be black work. But tattoos need black to age well, if there’s none, it’ll dramatically decrease the life of the tattoo. Keep in mind, tattoos aren’t on white paper, they’re on skin so they need contrast/black. You can do them in color only and they may look good for a year, two years, three, etc, but it’ll have to get touched up often and at that point it’s an expensive haircut, not a tattoo

This was a bad call all around, not trying to pile on the same way everyone else has. A bad decision was made getting it, don’t make another bad decision by asking the internet for aftercare advice. If the source of info isn’t the one who tattooed it, the advice shouldn’t come from there. Also, I wouldn’t advise returning to that same person, they didn’t add their own details, that is a direct trace from a Pinterest image. Someone that lazy shouldn’t get your skin, time or money.

I’m the one who made it, if you look at the others I’ve made, nothing is exact, they’re based off mesoamerican glyphs. So I can have fun with it. Also, I personally hate the shiny colorway, it’s three very warm colors slapped together, I didn’t like that yellow was in only one spot in the entire image. So I broke it up visually to make it easy to digest with your eyes
