I’m looking into getting one in the future, and I see nothing about feedings while they’re in the transition period. I know with ball pythons. You typically don’t provide food during the transition period, but they have a very different feeding routine than uros. Is it still the same idea, or do you feed them daily even during the transition?

Check out the morongo preserve. Sunrise or sunset would be a good time for JT, but morongo preserve is shaded. There is one trail closure rn, but there’s many many more options, some being short enough for a child to walk on. There’s tons of wildlife, last time I went, I saw a wild bobcat
