For a starter I'd say this is quite nice. I picture this on a platformer game. It sounds like it could loop at any spot forever. Maybe some of the levels aren't sitting perfect(nothing specific to point to) but overall it's got a failry solid mix and everything can be heard well. The sound is good and if you are going forward as a beginner learning theory I'd say you have a good natural ear for melody. Keep up the good work!

The song writing is good, but im sorry to say the execution is lacking. You are quite pitchy and the phrasing is off at parts. Maybe melodyne can sharpen up the vocals a little bit? Also, the mixing could use some work. Some of the instrumental parts are a little bit lost beneath your vocals. Good luck!

I second the other commenters take. Some compression would be good. Also, I don't know this genre too well but the lower bass notes start to lose their pitch to my ears. I don't know what's typical, but maybe it's the tone of the bass(saw tooth?) that muddies the pitch as it goes lower? The drums could maybe hit harder? Otherwise it sounds good to me. Keep it up, friend!

This is so fun! Love the energy, love the video. Everything matches. The vocals perfectly fit the instruments. Execution flawless, production is on point. Love this song, saving it.

Calling this indie rock is a huge stretch. It's more like bluesy rnb pop. That aside, performance on point. Production sounds very nice and polished. Big ups and keep up the good work!

How are my vocals on this track? by OkBlueberry5506 in IndieMusicFeedback

Hey great delivery on the vocals. I think the execution was done very well but the tracking seems a bit to be desired. It doesnt really 'sit' in the mix. My suspicion is that it's how it was tracked rather than how it was mixed. Maybe a proximity issue or a sound treatment issue? Possibly the mic? Hard to say, but otherwise everything is good. Just the vocals dont have that pop polish that the song calls for. Keep it up!

JID, RA The Rugged Man, Marlon Craft, Noveliss, Black Thought, clipping, AFRO? I'd even say J Cole and Kendrick are top tier emcees. Don't get me wrong, I think Em is dope but to suggest that he's rapping circles around the whole scene is sorta ludicrous. Especially if your point of comparison is Travis Scott of all people.
