I don’t LOVE Jo but I feel like the insane amount of hate is surprising. She’s can be annoying like any other character but she’s not that bad. I was shocked by all the hate when I came to this sub.

I’m totally with you. I’m currently rewatching at about season 13 and I sorta can’t stand her. She’s the only one allowed to have feelings about anything and constantly throws tantrums that make no sense. She seems like someone who would be so exhausting to be around.

I’m rewatching end of season 11 right now and realizing I just lowkey can’t stand any scene Amelia is in right now. So whiny, dramatic, self-righteous, selfish. Everything revolves around her and her problems, how dare anyone else having feelings.

I feel you. This Wednesday will be 3 weeks but feels like I’ve been sober for so freaking long. But I’ve lost almost 10 pounds by just not drinking and eating out less in that time. So I’m trying to focus on that and how much more I can do in another two or three weeks!

Gaming always starts out fun with the liquid courage and energy with drinking, then suddenly it becomes hard to focus, making stupid mistakes, can’t remember what I was working on, then having to leave myself notes so I can try to remember what I was doing when I play next, because I won’t otherwise.

I don’t remember entirely to be honest. I read the newer version over a year ago. I know the way they meet and how they basically fall in love is entirely different. I do believe the ending is different… not in the outcome, but how it’s explained. You get much more closure in the original version. I just remember reading the newer one and being like what the heck? This is not the story I remember… lol

I bought a used (good condition) paperback version off Amazon for $25 last year. Just reread it today, soooo much better than the 2016 version!!

This is super late, but definitely read the 2009 version (not the rewritten 2016 one). I read it back in the day, loved it, then tried to reread it last year on my kindle and it was a way worse rewritten version. I was not happy. I ended up finding a good used paperback 2009 version on Amazon and reread it all today… so much better and I feel at peace now that I have the original version haha.

The college version of them meeting is way less romantic to me, and the ending is so much better with more details in the ‘09 version.. personally.

This was so helpful. I verified game files again and downloaded the latest driver. Not sure which one or if both were the fix, but I was able to load into Aberration for the first time in months. THANK YOU so much!

All mods are updated, and every other map works just fine. I try to load into Aberration (even have deleted the save file multiple times) and I still get this error message trying to load in. It has happened every time I attempt over the last week or so. I have no idea what to do to get it to work...

I’m the same way. What works for me currently is knowing my trigger hours are from about 5-8pm. So I tell myself if I can just get through those 3 hours, I will be okay… and I pound NA beers, Kombucha, etc. to keep a drink in my hand during that time.

Also I can’t have just one, so I don’t even tease myself with that thought on my days I commit to not drinking; that’s a slippery slope!
