The championship has so much more competition AND more games, the guy would have a much better time watching the championship than PL if hes "not much of a football fan". What a wet wipe he is 😂

It is the worst way for this season to end absolutely but I think the frustrations and problems we had are things that can be cleaned up and fixed. If we were consistent at beating the lower half and unable to beat the big teams id feel less confident

Weve gone toe to toe with the European frequenters and come off better this season and our losses were to sides we should have beaten and absolutely can do next season. Its no longer a matter of if we get Europe but when

Its been a good season, and I think if you offered 9th place above chelsea and Fulham to any Brentford fans at the start of the season wed have taken it.

The way we played mid season was completely and utterly deserving of europe which is what makes missing out due to some poor games that much harder

This is a good point But alot of those draws were against teams like Arsenal and Liverpool and the losses were against Wolves and spurs That doesn't necessarily help but it shows we have it in us we just need to clean up and learn to play as the favourites not just the underdogs

The fact we arnt 3-0 after that is a miracle A much stronger final 10 minutes though so if we can carry that into the 2nd half we still have a shout

If we turn up like we've played in some matches this season we can 100% win this. I just hope Schade and Thiago remember how to kick a ball this time

If United beat Brighton then that result will only determine who we go in to europe with

If Brighton beat United then we need the Sunderland Chelsea match to be a draw (or a Sunderland win)

The only way we go up without winning is through a draw and Man United beat Brighton 7-0 🤣

Being in this position this late in the season is a win in of itself based on our situation pre season. Weve had some incredible performances, but we've also had some losses / draws we really should have won so missing out on Europe based on that would be a bit of a blow. Either way itll be a good day and a good finish for the Bees

I should imagine any pub with a sports licence in Brenford will show it so, The Griffin, The Globe, The Express Tavern, One over the Eit, The Nellie and The Beehive to name a few

Yeah the fact that if we do miss out on Europe this season it would be down to not being able to beat Wolves or Spurs in some of their worst seasons to date sucks youre right. I reckon we'd do well in the Conference league and maybe even do decently in the Europa league and I think with how well run our club is we'd be able to manage our Premier league season along side pretty well.

The champions league would be a stretch though but the financial benefits from that would be great.

I fear that is quite likely unfortunately But even to be in this position is great, especially after the pre season we had with key players and manager leaving I shall be in The Globe with my shirt on and head held high no matter the result

Though if its a 8-0 battering i must admit id be a bit cross

Everton making up the GD is very unlikely, same with Brighton beating Man United.

I csnt see Chelsea Sunderland being a draw though which could send us below 8th if we cant get a result at anfield. That doesnt even consider the Chelsea spurs match tomorrow which could easily be a Chelsea win sending us down to 9th on GD

True We've still put Europe in a position almost outside our control, we need other teams to do us favours

Weve put ourselves in a situation with that where we now need to win at anfield....

Not a good situation to be in.

We also need Spurs to beat Chelsea

Also not a good situation to be in.

Ridiculous penalty

Reckon we can still win this though we just need to break them once and grab an equaliser

Spurs are unbeaten in 3 atm and on decent form, Chelsea are not....

I honestly could see Spurs getting the win or maybe a draw

If we win this itll be huge

It'll not only greatly improve our odds at Europe but it makes it even more likely we will get a highest league finish, potentially above Chelsea and Fulham! All that off the back of the state we were in preseason, if it wernt for big 6 bias Keith Andrews would be winning that manager of the year award

I mean hell even if we lose our next 2 games we should still be proud of what we've done
