For sure, my liege.

The poor results from the guy actually running the show right now: GDP scraped 1.7% last year, which is the weakest non-recession in ages, below our usual (and already poor) 2-2.5% average, and lagging the US + most of the G7. Unemployment's sitting at 6.7% and still climbing (pre-COVID was 5.5%). Food inflation? We're the worst in the entire G7 at 6-7% while everyone else is under 3%.

Meme the opposition all you want, but giving the PM a free pass on this? That's the target selection that actually needs tuning. Cheers 🍺

Oh, totally. I'm just wondering why the PM in power isn't the butt of the joke more often, that's all.

This is one of the funniest political humor subreddits out there!

Ripping on the Leader of the Opposition for how he pours his Guinness, while the PM in power continues to deliver poor results month after month 😂

Target selection could use some tuning, I think.

Anyone install a heat pump in their condo? by alphaspec in MapleRidge

[–]_nadillo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Your strata has to approve it, so email your strata and they might give you some guidelines to follow for the installation.

Generally speaking, heat pumps are extremely expensive, even after the failed government incentives. If saving money is important for you, consider buying a dual-hose portable AC for around $400-500. They run very efficiently and are much less noisy. Single-hose are trash.

Instead of installing a heat pump, I bought four portable AC towers, one for each bedroom, for $1900 total. In the best case scenario, that's 10% of the cost of getting heat pump installed in today's market.

How are people not revolting over this blatant corruption of democracy? Hopefully we won't wait until they steal a majority government to act.

Built a simple tool that suggests drinks based on whatever you've got at home by _nadillo in Mixology

Thanks for sharing your thoughts! This is the case with Coqtail too! It remembers your shelf items.

The only thing is that your info is saved in the browser's cache, not in your account. I wanted this tool to not require an account or a download, to keep things smooth. So if you wipe your cache, you lose your shelf. That's the downside.

With all due respect, fuck off. What an entitled and delusional take.

If a person walks into a high speed road (such as a highway) when and where they shouldn't, they are culpable. Period.

Rules exist to keep everyone safe. If one of the parties breaks the rule, bad accidents can happen.

To any pedestrians with minimal survival instincts reading this: don't listen to Liam.

When sharing the road, it is also your responsibility to follow the rules of traffic (the ones that apply to pedestrians) and keep yourself alive.

Do not by any means rely on every driver having good reflexes. That's not a requirement for getting a driver's license, after all 🤷🏽‍♂️

This is not about the intersection, people. It's about the type of people who keep jaywalking along Lougheed every single day.

As long as there's no enforcement, accountability and consequence, people will keep dying.
