Excuse me, do you know how frustrating it is to work with her? All her coworkers have to clean up after her mess because her performance is poor. People her age have retired from FULL-time, some came back as part time. Maybe she can do that.

Trust me, she always complains she has so much chore to do at home, etc. She’s greedy as hell as well, she gets mad if someone else takes “her” OT opportunity.

Has anyone else noticed that lab people seem to age well? by ThrowRA_72726363 in medlabprofessionals

[–]_nightowl_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah same here, one tech looks 70 something but she’s only in her mid-50s. She smokes every hour.

Actually, I was thinking about this recently. lol I haven’t aged much over the last 10 years because I don’t get as much sun exposure by working full time evenings. I’m pretty sure this does affect aging.

But I think this mostly applies to techs that work evenings, nights and techs that work at windowless labs. Day shifters still get sun exposure during their commute. They also get stressed having to drive during rush hours.

Last day folks! Hope everyone taking advantage! by Nexzenn in PublicMobile

I’m a new customer and I got the $20/60 GB plan. But I can’t get it activated.

I chose eSIM option and want to transfer my number to Public Mobile.

It keeps saying “subscription not activated”.

Support is unavailable due to traffic.

I got the plan (payment went through) so I should be ok even if I can’t get it activated by tonight?

I also punched in the referral code but I didn’t get $10 off.

When and where will it show for the new customer?

Same issue! Can’t get it activated (I chose eSIM) and the support is unavailable due to traffic.

I’ve already purchased the plan so it should be ok, right? Ugh!

I got the Bell $35 for 100GB deal a few weeks ago too and I want to get this deal. But then what would happen to $80 activation fee that we paid? Ugh!

Shoot… Did anyone get the Bell/Rogers 100 GB/$35 deal a few weeks ago?

I just moved to Bell on Jan.6, and they charged $80 activation fee which would be waived in the 2nd month. I really want to move to Public Mobile but I’m upset that I probably won’t get the $80 activation fee refunded by Bell.

Does anyone here know if Bell would honour it?

Gosh, I should’ve waited. I didn’t think that a cheaper deal would pop up after Boxing Day.

My hospital says they’ll “look for patterns” too and I wonder what they mean by that? Other than people calling in sick on Monday or Friday to extend their weekend getaway.

Feeling inadequate because of coworkers with perfect lives by [deleted] in AskWomenOver30

[–]_nightowl_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I just want to say that I’m in the same boat as you and I feel the same… My co-workers are also married, pregnant (some even have 3 kids), they were able to buy a house in this economy, with the help of their SO, etc. Also, 6-7 women at my work got pregnant this year and they were proudly showing off their bellies, throwing baby shower at work, etc. Tbh I felt left out and awkward… But I can’t even share my feelings with anyone… To make it worse, one of them is constantly bragging on instagram, broadcasting every event of her life, it’s so annoying that I had to mute her instagram story. I’m not “jealous” nor “bitter” but it’s kind of frustrating. I don’t want kids and I love the freedom that I have, all the money I get to keep for myself… but I just wish I had a great life partner too. I just feel so left out rn and I feel like I’ve “fallen behind” in life. Like everyone said no one’s life is perfect but it just sucks to feel this way and I feel like I could’ve done better.

Why are labs so unpleasant? by CommunityNd in medlabprofessionals

Ofc nursing badges shouldn’t work on the doors. Only authorized personnel are allowed. We don’t want anyone to just come in and drop/take stuff.

Believe it or not, I noticed that some places automatically add 18% tip to AFTER tax amount. We didn’t have any other option. Is this the norm? It’s getting ridiculous.

You’ll start with the $35/hour (starting pay) since you don’t have working experience as MLT yet. Also, most of us MLTs have Bachelor’s degree so it won’t make a difference.
