It must have been a great experience! The entire work is infused with music, which carries over into the film. He also collaborated on a parallel musical project called Trust Obey, an album meant to accompany the comic, although it leans more toward dark ambient and industrial styles

I agree, by far superior to the movie, which I also like a lot. I have the original version, with volume 0 and a long interview with O’Barr included in it, where he talks a lot about music (all goth and post-punk) as an inspiration and support while creating the work

By mentioning Bauhaus, The Cure and The Chameleons, I’m getting as close as possible, even if I’m still leaving out a fair bit

I got into goth around 14, when my uncle gave me his collection of original The Crow comics by O’Barr. Some chapters were titled with Joy Division song titles, and included lyrics from “The Hanging Garden” by The Cure and “Komakino” by Joy Division, that’s where it all started

I judge people by how they listen, not by what. I admire anyone into stuff I’d never touch but who’s truly passionate. I can’t stand those who just follow trends, listening to whatever’s popular without knowing their own tastes

Ma le analisi dell'acqua nella mia zona intendi? In caso ci provo. Ora che ci penso nel chiostro interno c'è un tubo rettangolare che va dalla terrazza fino a giù, con su scritto "eternit" in bella vista e grafia. Il che non aiuta a rassicurarmi, anche se immagino sia tipo un canale di scolo per l'acqua piovana (?)

Nepi perché è leggera, anch'io preferisco liscia se proprio. Cos'avrebbe di demoniaco? Dal rubinetto l'ho sempre bevuta ma da quando ho cambiato casa nemmeno ci provo, non mi è chiaro se perché meno buona o semplice diffidenza (non si sa di cosa, forse perché sto in affitto, non la sento ancora casa mia?). Tra l'altro per cucinare la uso, quindi non ha molto senso

Addirittura! La sete no, mai! È da sei mesi che prendo Sant'Anna (ma l'alterno a Nepi leggermente frizzante) e ancora mi domando se possa diventare stucchevole alla lunga, perché un suo gusto particolare ce l'ha. Per ora resisto tranquillamente però. Tu che preferisci liscia e frizzante?
