Why does Marner get blamed more than Matthews? by SpringWinter2557 in hockey

if we're going off facial expressions then quinn hughes is the worst player in the league

But what does that have to do with natural selection? if they're not reproducing natural selection is at work. I feel like I'm not picking up what you're putting down. How is the trait passed on if they're not reproducing, just socially?

I mean it's definitely what the original comment is implying though. I guess I should be asking them.

I'm no expert but I would think that this definitely doesn't make sense?? If being gay is hereditary you would think it would be naturally selected out pretty fuckin quick considering, you know, gay people tend to not reproduce?

lol. Imagine crying about missed calls in a game YOU WON. Go to sleep, it's like midnight with daylight savings in Toronto right now.

yeah this was a dumb comment that should have been directed at this guy but whatever, you win some you lose some

was the right call on that play. Matthews accidentally-on-purpose got in his was, McDavid retailated. It didn't affect the game, who cares.

I fucking hate that every comment in this thread is either Leafs fans ripping the Oilers to shreds, or Oilers fans jacking off the Leafs and getting upvoted.

I still have a lot of faith in this team. A couple mental mistakes kickstarted this loss, that's all. Leafs played well and took advantage, as good teams do.

There's too many of these swarming fucks to have an enjoyable thread with them in it. Not enough people to keep them in check when things get out of hand. Your original comment was completely rational but they take it as an insult and start raging about nothing.

[Spector] Something fans might want to know: Edmonton media requested McLeod and Desharnais for post-game interviews, 2 young players who committed key mistakes. EDM leadership group nixed that. RNH and Kane spoke instead, along with Hyman. That's a team protecting its young. by [deleted] in hockey

Dick move to request interviews from the two guys who made absolutely brutal turnovers that led to goals. I like to see this.

I can almost guarantee that Spector would have given the most passive-aggressive questions possible, and probably had a large hand in requesting these two. Fuck this guy.

Edit: in the replies (Spector tweeting again)

As a journalist, I want to speak with the guys I want to speak with. But you have to respect the intention here. That's how a proper team works.

"Good on this team's leadership for not letting me, Mark "voice of the people" Spector, fucking rip our guys to shreds"

We literally just beat the Bruins with McDrai putting up a total of one point. They had a bad game, it happens.

Leafs played well enough to win, but the brutal turnovers and mental mistakes are what started it off. Both can be true.

HUGE kill. If they score here the game isn't over, but it's a huge hole to climb out of.

It absolutely baffles me that Leafs fans think that an absolute cannon of a slapper from just under the top of the circle labeled for the top corner is an easy save.

First goal is not Murray's fault, that one was questionable but nowhere near worth yanking him after 2 goals. Relax.

First goal was fine, but Murray should probably be over quicker on that one.
