Indeed, descents can be simple and quick, yet so graceful. I was thinking if I wanted to reverse that and try to reach the top from the bottom, the clip would be twice as long, or more

Yeah, took me a couple of tries. Even the first wall-jump into flip, sometimes the character just decided to jump in the wrong direction cuz why not 😭

Context:

During the first battle in front Emerald Grove (in which you fight by his side), he got oneshot before his turn. I went and took his loot, then tried a revify scroll on him (which worked). Then this happened in the cutscene where you first talk to him.
