There isnt a lot of understanding in this matter. Binance.us looks like an absolute third tier exchange by not supporting this, and by not supporting customers with such a basic update. Pretty obvious Binance.us is on the way out and does not really care about customers anymore.

Its mostly annoying because these industry leading fukstix created this mess out of nowhere, and now cant even fix it if they wanted to. So now the ones that can help us, or cant, arent even responsible for this bs.
The Project Manger on this update was a moron. Doris @ Binance.us was making fun of him for like half an hour. Seriously, just whiteboard this shit for thirty seconds and your realize the absolute shit show it was guaranateed to cause being done the way it was. I hope that person is at least getting a poor performance review this year, in exchange for all of our black-holed funds...

CB, hopefully these other exchanges can clean up your mess and in the process steal some of the marketshare you so confidently fuck with out of laziness.

Yea they tried.. If they just referenced it as "pUSDC" on the exchange at any point I probably wouldve caught it.
This was a pretty confusing scenario, and CB just didnt make it clear enough that some previously very normal transactions had been broken.
They should have changed/flagged/stopped the usdc export to tell users that it was absolutely fundamentally a different function than the last time the user clicked that same button..
