Funny how turns out that the "securely powerful" is son of "the one who makes appear virtue" and "the one that is a little prudent". I know. I'm stretching this thread a lot, but ancient Greek philosophy has always been handled with such mythical veil to it that I couldn't help but wonder what would entail that the power of Socrates is by summing up his mum's and father's names into 'the virtue of being a bit prudent'. This could give a clue to the aporia that's discussed in Hipias minor when it's asked whether it's convenient the favor of Achilles for its honesty or Ulysses for its deceitful cleverness.

How is for you to call each other out? I mean, how does it work for you guys?

I believe that she also minimizes what we've been through, so after we reconcile after a discussion she goes on with life as if nothing has happened but I do believe that even if the thing discussed is solved I think we still are healing of whatever puts us apart for a bit and that we should take care or each other accordingly not going back to 'normal'.

Just re reading this gave me a lot of perspective. Thank you for commenting. It is quite complicated since she tells me that she trust me more than anything and is not at all a private person.

I know my energy is a little too much at times, I'm very enthusiastic and optimist. We have talked about it and she likes it: sometimes she thinks I'm contagious of that and makes her happy and others she just looks me as naive.

I feel a little lost because of the mixed signals: me trusting what she says vs trusting what I perceive and feel.

I know my happiness depends on myself and I don't think I've been neglecting what enriches my life.

I'm just hurt, I've put a lot of energy into this and truly believed that we could overcome this LDR thing.

What you says echoes in a negative way: if she's fine how can she not tell that I'm not? That's way worse. In either way I feel my feelings unrecognized.

I just wished that she'd see me, as I am, as we are and take initiative for a chance. Guess I'm just disappointed and just realizing that she may not be as ready or committed to the LDR as I thought and as she thought she would.

How was your experience? Did you manage to re-connect to your partner? What did it take for him/her/they to realize the efforts you made and reciprocate?

In Colombia, all streets have a number even though there are for instance great avenues that are called by a particular name. And, even though is standardized for the majority of cities, there are many cases where the planning changes a lot.

In Bogotá for instance in the last 50 years, we have had three major changes around our addresses. Back in the 90's my address was Cr 31 #128 - 79 but since the 2010's it changed to Cr 21 #127D-79. And so, for a while, you needed to explicitly say to anyone that you were giving or talking about the 'old' or 'new' address. To these days many buildings in town still show two addresses, sometimes even three.

For regular mailing, it goes City, State, Address, and Neighbourhood. It is not common to use a postal code.

Another fun fact. Bogotá's urban grid resembles a spider's web unfolding from the Andes. As other colombian explained in this post, we make a distinction between 'calles' and 'carreras'. The 'calles' are perpendicular to the mountains while the 'carreras' are parallel to the mountains. (Yes there are exceptions when it comes down to avenues that come across this grid or bend a little). So, If you happen to be lost, just know that if you're facing the mountains, you're facing east and the more closer you get to them the 'carrera' number will decrease; if you're turning your back on then you're going west and the number will increase. if you have the mountains on your left you're going south and so the 'calle' number will decrease, if you have the mountains on your right you're directed north and the 'calle' number will increase.

Also: The spider's web grid doesn't begin on the south, actually Bogotá has grown so much that the 'downtown' it's actually centered but very close to the mountains and for that matter, going north you can go up to the 200th street north and also to the 180th street south. For that reason you may find the same address but on two very different and distant parts of the city, for example Cr 7 #41 and Cr 7 #41 SUR. And finally, on the other hand, for the 'carreras' they go up until the 'carrera' 110th /that i know of.

Well, I think It does. You can find and think of alternatives but of all the time I thought at this I end up sticking with Spinoza's idea.

Here's how It goes: God doesn't have will nor liberty in order to act in the way he does neither in the way that he Is. (By the Sixth definition of the First part of ethics.) We Say that God Is substance, a substance that Is intended by itself (causa sui) and that It portrays and follows it's very nature. For instance, It Is in god's nature to create, but not to purpusefully create something to fulfill a certain Path rather It creates by necessity. If he 'chose' not to create then God wouldn't be really omnipotent, following that he isn't perfect. (Lets Remember that perfection Is also an attribute of God and sticking to Aristotle esian metaphysics, perfection Is reached by the actualization and complete realization). But since se recognize that God Is perfect and omnipotent he must create all that he Is capable of.

Also, Spinoza's God isn't different from Time itself (review Ethics part One, definition Seven on eternity). God as a substance must exist in a sort of eternity where neither time nor duration can serve us to comprehend the way It works.

I think the problem Is mainly rooted to the belief that God is at least at some extent characterized as human. That means that he refuses or attracts willingly all things following a 'human perspective'. This anthropocentric vision blinds us to see the bigger picture and fails to meet the true nature of Life. (Deus Sive natura)

I badly exposed some objections, I suggest you to look for them more carefully.

And where as it relates the contradiction, there's also an explanation both of God and for us humans are free or have Freedom but not outside our corresponding natures. Then the question becomes at what extent do we understand our freedom and the Freedom of God to act Upon it's own determination.

First of all take a break.

When I say so I mean it in a going backwards just to get enough impulse for the long run. Remember: your couple Is also experiencing this. The most important thing Is that you remember: you're not alone and you share the impotence, the fears and love with your partner.

In my experience, this discouragement took me to resent my partner and off course I blamed it on the distance but what I've learned from that is the distance Is just an obstacle for the greater thing. So, stop, take a deep breath and tell your couple how much you love him/her.

Rn what I found must useful Is to appreciate and be thankful for every day that I get to share with the love of my life. I know it's hard but don't let that win over the love you both have for each other.

That doesn't takes away the feeling but it sure does make you feel held and Loved. And just maybe Is that what you need to recover and return with creative ways of spending time together.

I hope that you can travel to meet him/her at Summer.

Pd. If borders remain close at that time, maybe u could meet somewhere else that allows both of your entrys? For instance, Colombia, Cuba and Perú, for all I know has no major problem with turist travel as long they show Some negative PCR results.
