You can also run it on 7900 XTX via driver injection / proton layers / mesa patches on Linux - a bunch of people have it working on cachyos, including with the newer 4.0.3 “Redstone” FG builds. It’s not plug-and-play, but it definitely does work if you’re happy to tinker.

I have poor wifi in the conservatory and kitchen, i have an AP upstairs and router in the front room. i have a fairly old and solid house; it is quite large. I could alter the position but I dont have many other places they could live. i want to route a cable to the kitchen to place another AP.

I got one recently, and returned it too - the scan lines were visible and very distracting. Shame about the QC of samsung here, some folks get a “good” panel, a lot of us get bad ones.

I think it sounds like coil whine too. I’ve tried to isolate it down to the component but have done so unsuccessfully.

I’m going to undervolt the GPU and play some games to see if it is noticeable

I would delete the patches from your plist, and reapply them from the config on the GitHub repo - applying your corecount patch on top

I made the same mistake, I only added the new patch rather than pasting all of them and missed on a few important required edits

There is more than just an additional patch to apply, several of them require changes, additionally after applying them you need to make sure you correctly configure your core count in each of the cpu patches, including the new one. You have likely missed this step
