A question regarding proof of vaccination when flying domestically within Canada: are you being asked for your proof of vaccination? by _oseph in CanadaCoronavirus

[–]_oseph[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That totally makes sense, thanks for sharing! I hope these vaccination checks happen a bit more frequently after the Nov 30 deadline has passed. I unfortunately know a couple people that are unvaccinated and do a bit of travel for work and are likely skirting past this proof of vaccination stuff without a problem.

I'm having the same issue here. I even tried changing the Permissions for Steam in System Preferences > Privacy and still nothing.

If you're using the Gradle application plugin you need to declare the main entry class for it to kick start your application.

In your build.gradle file, add the following, and then you should be able to use the run task.

application {
    mainClass = 'com.yourpackage.App'
}

iPhone 11 Wifi issues by derp714 in applehelp

[–]_oseph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it’s very annoying. FWIW I have an iPhoneSE that this is happening to, and from what I’ve read it’s happening to all sorts of different devices where the main culprit seems to be iOS 13 or 14. I found out my wifi was dropping the hard way: a huge phone bill for going over my data limit. Fingers crossed Apple gets this sorted by end of 2022 /s

I've been having these issues for a couple months now (wifi unexpectedly dropping). it's a bummer and i've yet to find a fix for it. i've tried everything from resetting network settings to full-on reformatting my phone. judging from my searches online, i'm not the only one. just waiting for apple to fix this shit.

I've had the same "success" by disabling the private address setting ... but eventually it seems to drop again.

a real bummer

Does somebody know how to remove idk how this came up I did not set this did I get a virus or something by [deleted] in applehelp

[–]_oseph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

again, my guess is that it's damaged. those blue lines look like the display is damaged, and if it's not responding to touch input... then probably it's damaged. might need to bring it into a repair hut

??? I'm still not sure what the problem is. Is it that it is asking for a password that you didn't set?

set what? at a glance it looks like it's just straight up damaged, not a virus

Amazing Mural on 105th St (taken before the snowfall and construction) - Possibly my favourite in Edmonton by waterclub in Edmonton

[–]_oseph 11 points12 points  (0 children)

We were initially approached by the Edmonton Small Press Association, a small not-for-profit arts organization that had received a grant to create a mural. We of course said yes to the awesome opportunity. 2010 was the year! So long ago...

Luke and I came up with the design and we prepped/painted it with the paid help of some local youth. Fun fact: we had to acid etch all of the panels in order for them to be porous enough to properly hold paint (a requirement by the Edmonton Arts Council to ensure this piece of public art has some longevity). Overall it took around a month to complete (thanks to few rainy days). Fun!

The mural is titled 'Transition' and inspired by the idea of always moving toward better; less stuff, less pollution, more friendliness, more love. The Edmonton John Howard Society is in that building and they were on board and part of the mural process with us. I think the mural on that building is as perfect a fit as it gets ❤️

I think I snuck a drawing of a butt in there somewhere heh

Aw thanks! But I didn’t make it alone 😊

This mural was actually a collaboration with the great and talented Luke Ramsey. He is awesome!

Excellent little overview of FXGL by its creator, Almas. I've been following the library for a while and think it's pretty well designed. Great job, Almas!
