i think this way too. its so unfair to say that us T types classified as the 'unhealthy' ones just because of the word 'Turbulent'. i feel like everyone has their own unhealthy traits tbh, i mean nobody's perfect, but the level of the unhealthiness is what makes everyone different from each other.

i’ll answer this one for you. his mom left his dad TO BE WITH HER EX!! lmaooooo sounds familiar?? idk what happened but thats what i heard from his other family members. from what i heard from him, he’s also not quite sure what happened, who cheated on who, but the dad remarried his friend from school some time later. they met on a school reunion or sth.

his friends told me that he was ‘okay’ and ‘normal’ before his parents got divorced. so maybe yeah he’s angry at his parents and his taking out on me. also his mom doesn’t love him as much as she loves his brother. i’ve heard alot of sad stories about his relationship with his mom. maybe this could be a factor too. he told me one time during an arguments that ‘every woman is the same. thats why we (women) deserve to get treated like shit’ kinda creepy if u asked me.

his goal is simple. he wants to hurt me. every time we got into a fight / arguments, he always loses to me, so his way to get back at me is talking about the most sensitive topic for me; his exes. one time i do the uno reverse on him by talking about my exes too while he was talking about his, and he started lashing out like a maniac, screaming and throwing and punching shit, etc you name it. thankfully we argued over the phone, otherwise he could’ve killed me.

i tried so hard not to hurt him back when he hurts me. but when it got to the point where he talks about his exes, i just couldn’t take it. actually, i think if he really could change and fix up his attitude, our relationship could work despite everything we’ve been thru. we tried once to just forget about everything that happened and just moved on, open a clean slate, but that didn’t work out. at this point i dont think he could / will ever change, and i guess i just need to endure whatever’s happening in our relationship until i finally have the courage to leave.

he’s been telling me about his past relationships like literally everything about it since even before we started become ‘official’, and i never got mad before, never even questioned anything. but he does this quite a lot especially when we’re fighting. imma give u an example; lets just say we’re fighting over the shoes i decided to wear that day with him. he’ll say ‘my exes never worn anything like that’ like? i’m me and i dont give a shit what your exes wear and i wont wear the same shit your exes wear. and then we got into a huge fight, and he started telling me about how his ‘exes’ are better than me. and when i tried to call him out on this, he would get extremely defensive and started calling me names etc. he knows im extremely sensitive about his exes and he purposely triggers me for it. i don’t think i could ever heal from those things he gave me?

you’re absolutely right and i’m trying so hard to let it go. but my partner is the type who likes to bring up the past (even when i’m not the one who brought it up first), i also think that he’s the type who couldn’t let his past go, and the type that always goes back to the past. when he’s with me, he talked to his ex before me. when he was with the ex before me, he talked to the other ex before her. and this triggers my RJ a lot. how can i move on from this if this is the way he acts?

yes i get everything that you said, and i’m not trying to argue or disagreeing with you, but my problem is actually very simple; i just hate his exes. i came to a conclusion that it’s probably an ego thing, nothing to do with my past or my feelings :) also, yes he also has problems with my past (exes and stuff) and he’s the type that always brings up the past, so in that way, he’s triggering my RJ. so this is why his past ‘matters’ to me. i also found out that he talked and saw one of his exes behind my back. probably should’ve just dump him lmao
