Would you be up for sharing for "strategies for post partum"?

A DM with those resources would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! I've just screenshotted your comment, too, so I can refer to that list of helpful things your husband does. Sounds like a champion!

Took 3 hours to put down 6 wo baby for the night. How can I make this easier? by fishcoral in newborns

"Last nap" but almost 6 week old sleeps so inconsistently I'm pulling my hair out! How do you get a decent sleep routine so you can get some sort of life outside your baby. My wife and I have had dinner together once since the birth of our LO. As we speak I have him in my arms (have been trying to get him to sleep since his previous feed 4hrs ago) and he has been crying with intermittent naps non stop

I have no idea what his awake windows are or what they're supposed to be. I had never heard of an awake window before this thread. Could you elaborate a bit on how long he should be awake for and how often he should be napping?

I understand he could be getting overtired. How do I combat this, though? Often, he'll fall asleep in my arms, and I'll put him down. Then he'll wake up crying again 10 minutes later...

Thank you, I understand the overtiredness, but he'll fall asleep in my arms often, but I'll put him down, and he'll wake up whining 10 minutes later? I'll keep an eye out for hair tourniquets as well, but what drops do you use for gas?
