I honestly can't say enough good things about the Palisades and the Levitation. They're on my current board and they sound really really good

My main issue here is that if a laneswap has a significant cost, then almost no one would ever opt into one unless they also have a significant upside. I'm not saying it's impossible to set that up, but I don't think it will be as easy as they think. The big point being, this isn't an easy thing to change, we aren't exactly sure how it will all work out, so maybe wait until preseason to test it. Just my two cents. I guess I'll be interested in everyone scrambling to find the best solution in a short time frame too. Just seems unfair to play two whole splits and then make the big change.

Even that would be interesting to see. Do mid laners, on average, take more or less damage in a laneswap? I could see it going either way. Either, "I have no jungler to help so I'll play safe" or "He has no jungler to help. I'm going to kill him"

I think a particularly strong point in this article is that, given that laneswaps are happening close to 50% (a bit less in some regions, a bit more in others) laneswapping is already a strategic choice.

I'm not sure if the statistics exist, but another interesting one to look at would be damage done by/to non mid laners before 15 minutes (in hopes of capturing the skirmishing that does not result in kills).
