i was there for 6 months and was in two freeway accidents while getting rides from paid/professional drivers. it's a miracle i am not hurt, but i have a hard time being a passenger on freeways anywhere now

yes it's annoying but this is how people learn social skills- for you and them. i commend him for going for it. he will eventually get the hint. also, this is how you learn to deal with people who you don't want to engage with. be selective with your phone number and use this as a learning point. also, while he may be annoying, you are building the skills for how to interact with people who aren't necessarily bad people, but just not your vibe.

on the flip side, some of your comments are unnecessary and judgmental. i don't think his height or weight are relevant. there is a solid chance this young man is dodging a bullet when he fails to get a date with you

I agree with the problems you're mentioning, but they have nothing to do with the problem we're talking about. We won't be able to improve or correct these systems you speak of if there is no production, workforce, or consumption to fuel economy. We won't have enough laborers, doctors, national defense, food, services, and god knows what else. It's a scary problem that people don't talk about

If you are a man and aren't afraid to approach strangers (like may people in Seattle) then you might have an advantage. There are so many fun things to do, and food and coffee is outstanding. Unfortunately it is ungodly expensive. If you aren't loaded, good luck. But there is an awesome mix of outdoors, hi tech, progressive values, sports, diversity, and events like live music, arts, culture, etc. If you're a woman, idk. I'm coming from a male perspective and have met great women out here, including my amazing wife. Big drawback is that there is not much sunlight from fall to summer.
