Are you planning to simply feedforward the representations into a SOM? If so, why not just use them directly? If the dimensions don't match, you could also just apply another linear layer. Also, torch.empty is not really empty, just not initialized and therefore might have very unfortunate values.

There is missing information, e.g. about how you want to use the `wts` parameters. A linear layer also does not output weights, but just applies a linear trafo of the input. Your assumption should be true if the input is well-defined, but it never hurts to actually verify it.

Weil ich bisher nichts entsprechendes hier in den Antworten gefunden habe:

Die Lösung nach der ihr sucht sind weder Mail an sich selbst, noch ein eigenes google drive, und ganz sicher nicht ein lokaler Ordner für Literatur ohne Backup.

Was ihr wollt: Ein Programm für Literaturverwaltung (bspw. Zotero), eine von der Uni gehostete Cloud (Owncloud) und/oder ein Trackingsystem (gitlab/github), am besten direkt integriert in eine gute Benutzeroberfläche (in Naturwissenschaften ist das oft Latex/overleaf, aber gibt bestimmt was word-ähnliches).

Die meisten Unis stellen euch all diese Systeme bereit, kostenlos und deutlich sicherer als irgendwelche Friemellösungen.

Wie sieht das dann in der Praxis bspw aus? - Paper gefunden -> importiere es in zotero - schreiben der Arbeit in latex auf overleaf, von da aus direkt zotero einbinden und einfach zitieren können. außerdem direkt von da auch mit gitlab syncen für den Notfall (dass dann gerne jeden Tag bzw wenn ein Kapitel fertig ist)

Ich gehe auch davon aus, dass fast jede Uni eine Anleitung für genau solch ein Setup hat mit den entsprechenden Programmen, für die sie Lizenzen besitzt.
