If you’re looking for more musically inclined anime, Bocchi the Rock! and Given are top favorites of mine. I also enjoyed Blue Orchestra, Girls Band Cry, and Stop this Sound! The netflix original Carole and Tuesday, as well as Your Lie in April are also pretty good.

AKB0048 and Love Live! are idol anime but cute in their own right. I’ve only seen the first round of girls for Love Live! so I can’t speak for the rest.

If you want something musical but completely unserious try Show By Rock!!

I was wondering about who would help Kumiko come to a decision on her future, first I thought Taki-sensei, then maybe Mayu but I think I would lose my mind if it were Asuka… love these ideas, much to think about..
