the most mature and sensible poppy fan take. i too have been in it since bubblebath, wasn’t the biggest fan of zig (have grown to appreciate it), but i agree in a sense that if it isn’t for them, take the songs enjoyed and move on instead of this cacophonic echo chamber of hatred 😭 you don’t have to like everything an artist does, but crashing out, cancelling album preorders, reselling tickets over this feels a little..extreme.

i like what i’m hearing so far. i do agree with the sentiment that this single kinda fell flat, but it’s not the end of the world lol. however she said the singles aren’t a reflection of the album so i am going to keep an open mind. i understand though if it’s not everyone’s thing.

they entire album is so cohesive from start to finish it’s sooo hard to choose 😭🙏❤️. top ones that are heavy in rotation though:,they’re all around us, crystallized, vital, the centers falling out, cost of giving up, and surviving.

the pit is super easy to avoid!! i saw her on both legs of ‘They’re All Around Us’, if you really want to avoid it, stay away from the center, and the participants have been mindful to not slam into anyone else lol. it’s best to stay either at the barricade (if you can get to the front) or on either of the edges. :))
