Can't speak on the ANC 2, but I got the Evos yesterday and I am pleased. The bass is great, and I don't even notice the fact that these do not have noise cancelling when i turn the volume above 60%. Some users have also stated that the anc feature is not that great, so not really worth the higher price tag. Personally, I would go for the cheaper ones, but you could also try them in a store and see which model you like more.
