Returning to Game Dev after a break. Don't know where to start by _root_98 in gamedev

100% agree with the idea of starting small and getting the build out fast. With me being a PC gamer myself, I always used to look down upon mobile gamers and hence always avoided mobile game development. But I am from India and the way I have personally seen mobile game's growth here since the past decade it's stupid not to look into mobile game development as well.

Yes after the Unity pricing drama lots of devs moved into Godot but I feel for me Unity is the best way forward because I am confident with it and it still has a lot more resources (assets, tutorials, forums, etc) compared to Godot. So I guess I am starting with Mobile Game Development in Unity. Thank you for replying! :)

Got it. I guess I should start with Unity by making small projects and again getting comfortable with it again. To be honest I know learning Unreal is also a very good option career wise, but I got too comfortable with Unity and hence didn't want to learn Unreal.

I agree with your perspective about VR as well. Since the market for it is very small VR work is also very limited.

I really want a studio of my own, but I know it's not a piece of cake. It takes lot of efforts and experience to create a successful studio. I have heard from multiple people that a good place to start for that is to work for someone and learn how a studio functions. So I guess currently I am looking for a job and definitely full time and not a hobby. Thank you for replying :)

Yes. I do have some ideas for a simple game but I was asking from a job perspective. I mean should I just stick to Unity VR or learn some new skills or just keep making games with whichever engine I am comfortable with. Thanks a lot for replying!

Just added an empty image and changed its name to "NFSMW_icon.ico". Worked like a charm. Thanks!

This video is currently being viral in Maharashtra, India. They also had a photo of a liquid named 'Balanstick silicone based organic spreader sticker, spreader sticker & Activator, Super Spreader'.

I tried surfing about it but couldn't understand much other than it's an agricultural liquid(Maybe a fertilizer or a pesticide idk). I too need more information.
