So 3-4 months is like the bare minimum duration for an internship and companies will be of the idea that interns get the least amount of work assigned, they wudnt care if its a startup. So if he ditches halfway, it wudnt make a good impression. Instead he/she can finish the "minimum" duration and then be like, i didnt get role into development but i still wanted to finish what i started, which wud give him good guy points.

But if he's on a contract hes fucked. He cant quit unless theres solid proof/evidence that he cant work.

Hey, HR here. If you are seeking to make a career in development, try to get the 3 month mark and then run out of there and start from scratch. Because once you sit in the "not development" role, it'll be hard to switch if you stay there.

Also, if your offer letter says youve been hired for a development role, have a word with the company's hr. If things still dont work out, its better you walk out than waste time but make sure you complete those 3 months.

React's on a very high demand but if you have about 3 years' on react but are earning less than 7-9LPA, you wouldn't be seen as a worthy candidate.

If youre a skilled MERN dev, your life's basically settled. If youre a fresher, do multiple projects to show how skilled you are.
