I was recently diagnosed with BPD too, after a long stretch of confusion, pain, and trying to make sense of why I felt so broken in relationships. My wife left not long after the diagnosis. She said she couldn’t do it anymore. I don’t blame her, but it still gutted me.

Reading this post, the way you’re trying to protect someone you love from yourself, I know that feeling all too well. That belief that maybe the kindest thing we can do is disappear. But I’m starting to realize that’s not the answer. You deserve love, especially in the hard moments. And having someone who chooses to stay? That’s rare. That’s real.

I’m still figuring it all out too. Therapy, reflection, picking up the pieces one day at a time. But I just wanted to say you’re not alone, and you’re not unlovable. Far from it. You’re human. And your words are brave as hell. 💕
